BEAR LAKE, MI

Bear Lake in Michigan is a popular spot to relax, unwind, and play. It offers countless opportunities for water activities including fishing, boating, swimming, and more. Visitors can also sunbathe on the sandy beach and picnic.

NORDHOUSE DUNES

Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area is one of Michigan’s most scenic stretches of undeveloped Lake Michigan shoreline. It features towering sand dunes, wooded trails, and nearly four miles of pristine beach within the Huron-Manistee National Forest. The area is popular for hiking, backpacking, and beachcombing, with rolling freshwater dunes that rise as high as 140 feet above the lake.
